Cranmore Mountain Lodge

Our family friendly, historic Bed & Breakfast is set on more than 8 peaceful acres, offering resort-like amenities, with the beautiful Kearsarge Brook running along the back border of our property. Amenities include full country breakfast and a tennis court, a heated outdoor pool, a nature pond stocked with trout, an outdoor spa you can use all year long, picnic tables and barbecue grills.

Babe Ruth knew he'd hit a home run when he visited Cranmore Mountain Lodge throughout the 1940s, while his daughter, Julia Ruth-Stevens and her husband Richard Wells Flanders, owned and operated the Inn. The Babe always stayed in room 2, which is still appointed with the same furniture that the Babe used and full of memorabilia.

Each of our 20 rooms and suites are decorated in a different style and feature a choice of comfortable king, queen, double beds and bunk beds. Whether you come alone for a business trip, with your spouse for a romantic weekend, with your family for one night or a week, we have the right accommodations for you.

Children 10 and under stay free. All rates are for double occupancy. A charge of $20 + 9% tax will be charged for additional person over the age of 10 in the room. During Fall foliage season (From September 28 to October 18, 2012) this extra charge per person is $30 + 9% tax.

Please enter all children ages 10 and older as adults to calculate the correct room total. If you do not enter the correct number, you may charged the extra adult fee by the hotel upon check-in.

Check in time is between 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Check in after 8:00 PM is available upon request, please contact property ahead of time to arrange.

The Cranmore Mountain Lodge is an Environmental Champion Member of the New Hampshire Sustainable Restaurant and Lodging Program. Sustainable Restaurant and Lodging certified facilities develop goals and identify people in their organizations to find new opportunities to improve their operations through education, employee ideas and guest feedback. We, innkeepers at Cranmore Mountain Lodge, have been long time believers and supporters of sustainable living, long before they even started talking about global warming. We are committed to promoting awareness and protection of the environment through an appropriate management system. We will conduct our business in compliance with all applicable environmental regulations and expect every employee to take responsibility for meeting these standards when performing his or her duties. We will work and communicate with customers, governments, local communities,employees and suppliers to identify and resolve environmental issues. We will prevent pollution at the source by reducing waste, recycling or disposing of items, and purchasing products that are reusable or that contain recycled materials. In France, we were raised with the respect of what nature offers us, from organic farms to being very concerned about reducing our carbon footprint. As a business, and more specifically a Bed and Breakfast, it allows us to teach our guests easy ways to be environmentally friendly and share with them our projects to become a better sustainable lodging property. The White Mountains of New Hampshire are a wonderful heritage and we are proud to participate in preserving their beauty for generations to come.
